The pomelo is a huge citrus fruit with a diameter of 15–25 centimetres (6–10 in) and a weight of 1–2 kilograms (2–4 lb). The rind is thicker than that of a grapefruit. The flesh, which has 11–18 segments, has a slight grapefruit flavor.
